New Years Day 2010

Once again, we had a great day flying and bringing in the Year 2010 at Mariner's Point.  This was out 18th annual New Year's Day Fly.  In addition to out local club members, several attendees were from out of the area.  Media coverage included the San Diego Union and KUSI TV news.
 

Pictured above was on of the several Rev mega-flys- this time coupled with sharing the airspace with a giant inflatable octopus.

Fighter Kite Challenge 2009

Eric and Daryld point to the "victor" of the FIghter Kite Challenge'09 Victor Heredia.  Victor holds up the trophies assembled by Dave Corning and awarded to the Open and Master's Class champions.
